Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Disabled adults want to know-how to have sex, experience love and be in relationships!
Teaching sex, love, relationships and identifying abuse is
critical for disabled adults to know if they want to pursue
healthy and safe relationships with others.
Love and sex means different things to everyone but no
one directly talks about it with autistic and disabled
adults! Answers are left to be found by watching dating
shows, news, magazines, adult websites, and social
media...
Research clearly shows the high vulnerability of disabled
people to be abused or unknowingly be the abuser or
harasser. But research also shows the keen interest many
adults have in desiring a loved partner, sex and families.
Why is it so difficult?
After reading far and wide in literature, we learned that autisticand disable adults generally found :

Many don't get opportunities explorer relationships and dating
It is hard to know if someone's flirting , showing sexua l interest, and can be unaware of what is abuse or harassment
